Kelci Lynn Lucier has worked as a freelance education writer since 2008. Prior to working as a writer, Ms. Lucier worked at or for colleges for nearly 10 years. She has a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in English & Comparative Literary Studies from Occidental College.
Currently, Ms. Lucier is the College Life Expert on About.com and Co-Founder of The College Parent Handbook. Her new book, “College Stress Solutions,” is available for pre-order and will be released in April 2014. Previously, she wrote “The College Experience” blog at US News & World Report.
Ms. Lucier has been interviewed for or featured in multiple media outlets, including CNN’s Headline News, Katie Couric’s show “Katie,” Wall Street Journal on Campus/Unigo, TeenVogue.com, CosmoGIRL!, Yahoo! News, StudentAdvisor (a Washington Post Company), HerCampus, LA Weekly, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit Free Press, the Omaha World-Herald, and the Association of College Unions International’s Bulletin. She has also been featured as a guest on the nationally syndicated “Growing Up with Dr. Jerry Brodlie” radio show and WCBS 880′s “Opening Bell” in New York City. Additionally, she is a member of the Education Writers Association.
